2. Contract Formation
The product presentation on our website does not constitute a binding offer. By placing an order, you submit a binding offer to purchase. The contract is formed when we confirm your order by email or ship the product.
3. Prices and Payment
- All prices are shown in Euros (EUR) and include applicable VAT.
- Shipping costs are displayed during checkout and added to the total.
- Payment is processed securely via Stripe. We accept major credit cards.
- Payment is due immediately upon order placement.
4. Shipping and Delivery
- We ship to EU countries. Delivery times vary by destination (typically 5-10 business days within Germany, 7-14 business days for other EU countries).
- Risk of loss passes to you upon delivery.
- If a product is temporarily unavailable, we will notify you and provide an estimated shipping date.
5. Right of Withdrawal
As a consumer in the EU, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal. Please see our Withdrawal Policy for full details and the withdrawal form.
6. Warranty and Defects
- We provide the statutory warranty for defects (Gewährleistung) as required by German law.
- The warranty period is 2 years from delivery for consumers.
- If a product is defective, you may request repair, replacement, or (if those fail) a refund.
- Please report defects to support@cubeworksgmbh.de with your order number and description of the issue.
7. Limitation of Liability
- We are fully liable for damages caused by intent or gross negligence.
- For slight negligence, we are only liable for breach of essential contractual obligations, limited to foreseeable, typical damages.
- This does not affect liability for damages arising from injury to life, body, or health, or under the German Product Liability Act.
8. Product Description
The Halo Terminal is a USB-C LED indicator device designed to work with Claude Code. It displays status information through colored LED lights. The open-source software is provided "as is" under the MIT license.
- The device requires a USB-C port and compatible software.
- Software compatibility may change with updates to third-party services (Claude Code).
- We provide best-effort software updates but cannot guarantee indefinite compatibility.
9. Intellectual Property
- The Halo Terminal hardware design is proprietary to CubeWorks GmbH.
- The accompanying software is open source and available under the MIT license at github.com/f0i/halo-terminal.
10. Data Protection
We process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws (GDPR).
11. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
- These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG).
- If you are a consumer residing in the EU, you also benefit from mandatory consumer protection provisions of your country of residence.
- For merchants, the exclusive place of jurisdiction is Stuttgart, Germany.
12. Dispute Resolution
We are not obliged and not willing to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
13. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your order applies to that purchase.
